Super Centre:
Our store is stocked with more than 6,000 products, all available
at everyday low prices. In addition to providing great value, we
have the broadest, deepest product range in the area. And we're
constantly on the prowl for innovative new products that can help
our pet parents raise healthy, happy pets.
The several dogs groomed and bathed each year in Brontosaurus
salons are pampered at the hands of pet stylists who must complete
a rigorous Brontosaurus certification process. Grooming isn't just
about a fabulous "do," it's also about keeping pets happy
and healthy with services including expert nail trimming, ear cleaning
and teeth brushing.
Dogs and their pet parents grow smarter each year with help from
our pet training instructors. In addition to ensuring that pets
are happy, well-behaved members of the family, the classes help
solve obedience problems - the number one reason pets are relinquished

Expert veterinarian care is within klm of our store in which Blue
and White Veterinary Clinic, offers a complimentary consultation
and special services to our pet perks customers. This vet clinic
operates independently of Brontosaurus and employs more veterinarians
who provide a full range of health care and emergency services.
Whether it's finding the right pet, the best food or the perfect
toy, signing up for training or grooming sessions, or taking home
a newly adopted dog or cat, we have the answers. We're Brontosaurus

OWNERS:
Sarah and Gus Rose and their son

As of April 3rd 2006 Sarah and Gus Rose are the new owners of Brontosaurus
Pet Super Centre. They have come from farming in the Snowy Mountains
where animals were a big part of their lives. A move for the warmer
brought their family; 3 dogs, 16 horses, cat and fish to beautiful
Coffs Harbour.
You will see Sarah in the shop on a regular basis
along with their 6 month old son Jack.
Both bring plenty of experience to the business with
Sarah’s business retail background and Gus’s dog training
abilities they are looking forward to getting involved in the community
. ‘Our vision is to provide all the necessary
health, nutrition and husbandry information to begin a long, healthy
and rewarding relationship with your pet.’
BUSINESS MANAGER:
Nicole Wilson

Nicole Wilson is the Business Manager at Brontosaurus
Pet Super Centre. Nicole began with our business in July 2006 and
it is her role to take the “Bronty” name to the next
level.
Nicole’s experience is wide & varied. Nicole has extensive
experience in the retail & customer service industry, being
a Chartered Accountant prior to this position allowed her to assist
in the development of many local & regional retail stores.
Nicole’s animal experience is also extensive. Her home is
affectionately known to friends & family as “The Zoo!”
Nicole & husband, Marty, have owned various breeds of dog throughout
their lives – currently they own a 4 year old Alaskan Malamute,
Khan. Nicole’s “Zoo” also consists of her wild
feline, Jazz, who is a Siamese x, her hand raised Cockatiel Squeak,
Charli the Java finch and a huge assortment of cold water fish,
tropical fish & seahorses.
Nicole is also our resident Puppy Trainer!
Our Puppy Pre-School began in August 2006 and is growing rapidly.
Nicole’s training experience comes from her Mum who was a
dog trainer for many years, and also from various courses &
studies undertaken over the years

TEAM LEADER:
Katie Sippel
Katie moved to Coffs Harbour in December 2001 after completing
her HSC. Katie is from a small town near the Snowy Mountains; Bombala
NSW.
Katie began working full-time in January 2002, she is now our Team
Leader, with a wide range of experience with all animals & products
through-out our store.
Katie currently keeps several fish in her indoor water feature
and owns a Tenterfield Terrier (Mini foxy) named Holly. Katie has
a keen interest in all animals, but her expertise lies with dogs
& birds.
Katie’s aim is to complete her Veterinary Nurse training
over the coming years.
She has an enormous all round knowledge and is eager to share it
with our customers and staff.

I have been at Brontosaurus for 3 months now and
in the industry for a year! I am local to the Coffs harbour area
and I have spent time at the zoo as a volunteer for 5 months. While
working at the zoo I completed several courses including; animal
maintenance and animal wellbeing.
I have gained a large amount of information through
these courses and enjoy this industry. My pets include;
Lady – Welsh mountain pony
Cooper – long haired Border Collie
Toby – Hand raised Cockatiel
Michaella Smith
- Animal Health and Care
I have been around animals for longer that I can remember.
I began working in the pet industry 6 years ago. I began my pet
industry knowledge in aquatics including goldfish, tropical and
Marine fish care. I then moved into small animals including Guinea
Pigs, rabbits, mice, rats and more. I also have a strong knowledge
base in birds which is one of my favourite learning experiences.I
have learnt the best practises for caring, taming and hand , raising
most birds, puppies and kittens . I have had up to 40 baby birds
in my care at on time a deafening but enjoyable and fulfilling experience!
I have more recently been introduced to the exciting
world of scorpions, flower beetles, sticking insects and rhino beetles.
After feeding and caring for them their wonderful nature helped
change my fears into interest and respect.
Featured in the photo is Izzie, my English budgie.
We have a great friendship and dispite me not teaching him to talk
he is starting to voice his opinion. During the day Izzie has run
of the house enjoying the rocking chair, his day pen and radio or
tv.
Over the years I have had several pets in my care
including; Huskies, Bird eating spiders, Saratogo, Red devil and
more. I have grown to love animals more than my favourite tv show
and hobbies combined. Animals are more than a past time for me they
are part of my life everday.
Shelley Harris
- Groom and small animal specialist
Shelley has been in the pet industry for over 11 years.
Starting in a Ballina followed by Lismore and now Coffs Harbour.
Despite having four children and several animals Shelley continues
her dedication to the industry and is incredibly knowledgeable in
all departments. Small animals is her specialty, she can help you
with any questions on wellbeing of birds, puppies, kittens, guinea
pigs and more.
We are also excited to have Shelly as our new resident
groomer. She has completed her certificate at the Parramatta College
of grooming and is fully equipped with a hyrdo bath, blow dryer,
clippers and a keen love for our furry friends.
